Year 2: Penguins

Wagtail Class have been reading ‘The Emperor’s Egg’ in our English lessons.

We have been amazed by some of the facts about Penguins and wanted to share an interesting fact about these amazing Penguins.

 Do you know how tall an emperor Penguin is?

Wagtail Class found out that an Emperor Penguin is 130 cm tall, which is as tall as Artem in Wagtail class!

We used a ruler to check if Artem was the same height as an Emperor Penguin.

There were some children who were shorter than the Emperor Penguin and some were taller.

Are you shorter than an Emperor Penguin or taller than an Emperor Penguin?
